Labelling

We deliver the pack already decorated: the artwork, the slim sleeve label and its application by heat shrinking. You only fill it with your product.

We deliver the pack already decorated. The slim sleeve is drawn over the container and pulled onto its shape by heat shrinking, so it decorates areas where a flat label will not sit.

You need to bring nothing. We do the artwork on request, we cover the printing through our partners, and application and inspection happen in our plant. You receive the decorated pack and fill it with your product.

You bring the product. The pack, the artwork and the label come from us.

What a slim sleeve label is

A sleeve label is a pre-printed tube of heat-shrink film that is slid over the container and shrunk onto its shape in a heat tunnel. Unlike a self-adhesive label, which needs a flat surface, the sleeve follows the contour: shoulders, waist, recesses, neck.

“Slim” means it wraps only a band around the body, not the full height. It is still a label, but one with no visible edges and no corners that lift.

At ELECTRIC we cover the whole chain: the artwork on request, the sleeve printing through our partners, the application and the shrinking on our own lines. You leave with the pack decorated and ready to fill.

How the application runs

  1. 1The sampleWe check the bottle and the sleeve together. Shrinkage is measured on the real part, not on a drawing.
  2. 2The settingWe fix the height on the body and the orientation of the artwork, so the label lands identically on every piece.
  3. 3The applicationThe sleeve is cut to length and drawn over the bottle.
  4. 4The shrinkingA pass through the heat tunnel: the film pulls onto the shape and stays taut.
  5. 5The checkPosition, creases, text distortion and coverage of critical areas. What fails does not ship.

What matters in the artwork

Direction of shrinkThe film shrinks around the circumference and barely at all in height. Artwork is prepared distorted the other way, so it comes out straight after shrinking.
Diameter differenceThe ratio between the largest and smallest diameter of the covered area sets the shrink percentage needed. That decides which material fits.
The materialPET-G, PVC and OPS shrink differently and behave differently in recycling. We choose it together with our printer, according to the container.
Critical areasBarcode, legal wording and best-before date go where shrinkage is low, so they stay legible.
The seamThe vertical join of the tube is hidden at the back, on the axis you choose.

Why it sells better than a stuck-on label

You speak on the whole bodyA full 360-degree surface, with no edges and no white space left around a label.
It works on difficult shapesBottles with a waist, shoulders or recesses, where a flat label lifts at the corners.
It reads from a distanceSolid colour over the whole surface and metallic effects that stand out on the shelf.
Variants without a mouldSame bottle, different sleeve. A new flavour or a limited edition no longer needs a new mould.
Short runs, small costA sleeve is only print, so a short run for a market test does not cost what a new form costs.
Visible sealThe sleeve can run over the cap and become proof the pack has not been opened.
Clean recyclingOn PET bottles, a correctly chosen sleeve, with a tear perforation or in a material that separates during washing, does not disturb the recycling stream.
