#202#211Why the PET can with an aluminium end
Clear, light and sealed like a classic can — the PET can combines product visibility with the protection of a metal closure. The customer sees exactly what they buy, and the product stays safe until it is opened.
It closes with a seamed aluminium end, in three opening technologies: Easy Peel (EPE), Full Aperture (FA) and Stay-On-Tab (SOT). The same can can be closed differently, depending on how you want it opened on the shelf.
It is a retail packaging: fully customisable with a 360° heat-shrink sleeve, a self-adhesive label or a sticker, and its cylindrical shape palletises efficiently — between 2,700 and 6,000 pieces per euro pallet.

It is also called a can seamer, a can closing machine or simply a can sealer. It is the same machine: it mechanically seams the aluminium end onto the mouth of the PET can, by double seaming.
