Coffee shops, cold brew and coffee beans
Coffee has two enemies: air and light. The sealed can solves the first completely, and with a printed sleeve it solves the second too — without giving up showing the beans when you want to.
Cold brew takes twelve hours to make and three days to drink. Sealed in a can right after filtering, it holds its taste far longer and leaves as takeaway with no plastic lid. You make it once a week and sell it from the chiller, cold, like any canned drink.
For beans and ground coffee, the seamed can holds the aroma better than a valve bag, and the customer sees the roast exactly. You portion 250g or 500g on the day you roast, without ordering printed bags for every single origin.
The same can covers both the drink and the beans — so one machine and one kind of pack for everything you sell to go. That is how a coffee shop builds its own shelf range, under its own brand.

It is also called a can seamer, a can closing machine or simply a can sealer. It is the same machine: it mechanically seams the aluminium end onto the mouth of the PET can, by double seaming.
