Bakeries, biscuits and dry pastry
A good biscuit is spoiled by air, not by time. Sealed in a can on the day you baked it, it keeps its texture for a week and sells from the shelf, not only from the counter.
What does not sell by the evening is no longer waste: you put the product in a can while it is fresh, close it and put it on the shelf as a packed product, with its own shelf life. The bakery gains a second sales channel from the same oven.
The clear can shows the biscuit whole — the chocolate chips, the almonds in the biscotti, the browned crust. A paper bag shows nothing and a plastic one crushes the product. The can holds it in place, upright.
The #211 format, with its 68mm mouth, is the right one for wide, fragile products that must be placed rather than poured. With a printed sleeve, the can carries the bakery's brand and the ingredient list, without ordering printed packaging in the thousands.

It is also called a can seamer, a can closing machine or simply a can sealer. It is the same machine: it mechanically seams the aluminium end onto the mouth of the PET can, by double seaming.
