Fine pastry, macarons and cakes
A cardboard box hides what is inside and gets crushed in a bag. The clear can shows every macaron, holds it in place and protects it from moisture — which, for a macaron, is exactly the difference between good and ruined.
The pastry chef arranges the product in the can, closes it with the machine and puts it in the display case. The seamed end stops the air, so the shell stays crisp and the filling soft for two or three days instead of a few hours. For a product that spoils fast, that means less waste at closing time.
The clear cylinder turns a small product into a gift. Six macarons in different colours, arranged in order, are visible through the wall of the can and sell without a word of explanation. With a printed 360° sleeve, the can becomes your brand's pack.
The same can holds biscuits, cookies, cake pops, meringues and pralines. It stacks in the display case, it does not tip over and it travels to an order without being crushed. The #211 format, 68mm in diameter, is the one that suits wide products.

It is also called a can seamer, a can closing machine or simply a can sealer. It is the same machine: it mechanically seams the aluminium end onto the mouth of the PET can, by double seaming.
