Gyms, shakes and supplements
After training nobody wants to wait for a blender. A cold sealed can, taken from the fridge at the front desk, is drunk on the spot and dropped in recycling — no shaker to wash.
The gym or the kitchen prepares the shakes in the morning, seals them and chills them. The aluminium end closes hermetically, so the drink does not spill in a sports bag and does not oxidise. The intact seal tells the customer nobody has touched it.
For powders, creatine, protein balls and nut mixes, the sealed can beats the bag: it keeps moisture out, you see exactly how much is left and it stacks on a shelf. Single-serve portioning is done on site, on the day you sell.
The PET can is clear and hard to tamper with once opened — two things that matter in a category where the customer wants to see what he is drinking. With a printed sleeve, the same can carries the gym's or the supplement maker's brand.

It is also called a can seamer, a can closing machine or simply a can sealer. It is the same machine: it mechanically seams the aluminium end onto the mouth of the PET can, by double seaming.
